Terms and Conditions
Trading Terms & Conditions |
These trading terms supersede all previously stated trading terms and these are now cancelled. |
Acceptance |
By placing an order, written or verbal, you are hereby agreeing and bound to our trading terms and conditions defined herein. |
Pricing |
Goods will be invoiced at the applicable rate on date of despatch. |
We endeavour to keep all our prices competitive and any increases to a minimum, but we also reserve the right to alter prices without notice. Trade prices are exclusive of VAT. |
Brand Representation |
As an authorised stockist, you are obligated to uphold the positive representation of TK Products across all channels—both in-store and online. This includes using the current brand logo, product text, and information as supplied. Any perceived or reported denigration of the TK brand, regardless of the means, will result in appropriate action being taken in order for us to protect the brand. Furthermore, you are entitled to represent articles on your website only if you committed to taking them as part of a forward order (subject to reason). |
Failure to meet the conditions stipulated above may lead to, but not limited to, placing your account on hold with immediate effect and/or applying surcharges to subsequent orders. |
Terms |
Nett payment of our invoices is due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise stated clearly on the invoice. Discounts (if offered) are conditional on TK Hockey UK Ltd receiving cleared funds in our account by the requested date (detailed on the invoice), invoice references detailed on the payment and/or receipt of a remittance advice, and upon receiving payment by bank transfer. We do not accept payment by cheque, nor is it possible to pay invoices by credit/debit card. Any discounts offered are discretionary and can be removed and withdrawn at any time and without notice. |
Late Payment |
We reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 8% per month above the Bank of England base rate, together with compensation for debt recovery costs incurred in recovering an overdue amount pursuant to the provisions of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002. |
Title of Goods |
Legal title and ownership of all goods supplied by TK Hockey (UK) Ltd shall remain with the company until full payment has been received for those goods and for all other sums due from the buyer to TK Hockey (UK) Ltd. If the buyer fails to make full payment by the due date, TK Hockey (UK) Ltd shall, without prejudice to any other remedies, be entitled to demand the immediate return of the goods, which the buyer must return without delay. Should the buyer fail to do so, TK Hockey (UK) Ltd, or its authorised agent, shall have the right to enter the buyer’s premises (or any premises where the goods are located) to recover the goods. The buyer hereby grants TK Hockey (UK) Ltd a licence to enter such premises for this purpose. |
Insolvency |
If the buyer becomes insolvent, goes into administration or liquidation, or ceases trading, TK Hockey (UK) Ltd reserves the right to terminate any agreement and recover any goods not paid for in full. |
Insurance |
The buyer is responsible for insuring all goods supplied by TK Hockey (UK) Ltd against loss, theft, or damage from the point of delivery until full payment has been received. |
Risk |
Risk in the goods shall pass to the buyer upon delivery. The buyer shall be responsible for the safekeeping, condition, and storage of the goods from the moment of delivery, regardless of whether legal title has passed. |
Minimum Orders |
There is no minimum order for most products. The exception is for special order textiles where a minimum quantity is required, details of which will be advised at time of enquiry. |
Textiles |
All bespoke textile orders must be signed off in writing by way of confirmation email prior to submission. Please note that until this is completed no orders will be submitted and it is the date of confirmation that will be used to calculate lead times. Due to the nature of variations in textile fabrics and the dyeing process it is not possible to guarantee an exact colour match from batch to batch or from garment to garment. We endeavour to make sure that all garments are matched as closely as possible, however, we will not accept any liability for differences in shades. Some articles may vary within a production tolerance of +/- from the quantities submitted on the order. In all cases, any overmakes must be accepted. |
Guarantees & Returns |
Owing to the nature of the game of hockey it is not possible to guarantee hockey sticks against breakage. All sticks break in time. It is our policy to examine and consider valid cases of breakage, i.e. genuine breakages of sticks within six weeks of purchase. Thereafter, we are willing to consider individual cases. In all cases, the amount of use and wear will be the overriding factor for assessment regarding any replacement. We do not replace sticks that show signs of excessive wear, age, or misuse. In cases where the owner insists that the stick be returned to TK Hockey (UK) Ltd for an opinion or an old stick is sent for repair, we ask that the owner should supply a copy of the proof of purchase and should pay the postage costs. All non-stick items are guaranteed against manufacturing or material defects and replacement/credit will be given for such returned items that are deemed defective. Excessive use or misuse of any product will not be considered a manufacturing fault. For any products that are returned to us that are not faulty, we reserve the right to charge a 25% (minimum) handling fee for processing the return and this will be deducted from any credit due (if applicable). Any goods that are faulty will be replaced, rather than credited. Any goods that cannot be replaced will be credited at the price originally paid. Please be aware that any goods purchased more than 24 months ago will be credited at the last applicable clearance price, regardless of how old the product is when it is sold. |
Orders, Service & Delivery |
We recommend placing all orders via our B2B portal as this will allow you to see live stock figures and ensure your order is processed in the most efficient way. Our B2B enables you to bulk upload CSV files if you wish to speed up the process and you can download the template from your account. You are also welcome to order by phone (24-hour answerphone) or email (orders@tkhockey.co.uk). We have additional incoming lines and aim to answer all calls, but please do try again if all lines are engaged. It is our aim to despatch all carriage paid orders the same day if the order is received by 14:00 Monday to Friday. We will despatch orders direct to your customer if you wish, but this will incur the standard carriage charge regardless of the order value. Currently, the threshold for free carriage on trade orders is £350 ex. VAT for UK mainland. |
